Okay, okay, okay...I know it's been 16 days...

Well, I have committed the ultimate of all blogging sins...I have neglected my blog.  Sometimes I even wonder if anyone notices.  You know if Cameron is blogging more than you, you're dropping the ball!

It's been sixteen days since the last post and a lot has happened since then.  We have launched our regular schedule of Sunday services and this weekend is our second service of the month.  We are meeting on the FIRST and THIRD Sundays, so if you are in the area, drop by the YMCA at 10am and say hello.  If you are wondering why we are only gathering corporately twice a month, visit our site to see.  Brett and Emily Mills came and helped us out on the 6th by leading worship and did a great job.  Cameron had a great launching message from the Great Commandment called "God Image."

This week, I have been balancing the demands of the church and also the demands of finances!  I'm getting some new jobs - websites and graphics, so it's been a little exciting.  Finding enough money to pay bills can be a little interesting during the planting phase of a church - especially when you are not linked to a denominational entity.  I still believe the benefits of independence outweigh the alternative.  And I'm getting to do something I really enjoy.  The life of a church planter.

This Sunday, we are continuing our series called "Simple Faith."  I will be teaching this weekend on how we love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength.  It's going to be fun.  If any of you are up to helping me with the final prep, you can answer this question:  How do you love God?

For those of you that are close, hopefully we'll see you Sunday.  For those of you who live farther away, thank you for supporting us.
