Interesting Day

Yesterday, Rhonda and I went to a friend's memorial service for her
father. My friend sat in a home that had been converted into a funeral
home. This is probably not that uncommon, but thus one was unique. She
sat with her two sons next to her mother listening to her husband
officiate the memorial service for her father...in what was once the
home of her great-grandparents! Amazing.

I am sad for my friend because her dad isn't here any longer but we
hold to our belief that we can cope with the hardships of life and
death because of the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
