Oh Yeah...

The Olympics.  There is something about them.  During these couple of weeks, I become a fan of sports that I've

watched before.  My first olympic event this year was a women's badminton match on MSNBC.  Rhonda watched a handball match earlier today.  I didn't even know about this kind of handball.  Last night I was caught up in the 4x100 men's freestyle relay...yep, I cheered and pumped my fist when Jason Lezak touched the wall .008 seconds before the frenchman.  Incredible moment!  I'm sure there will be more, but that was the first of this XXIX Olympiad.

I then followed that up by watching our Women's Volleyball team get crushed by Cuba...but woke up this morning to the US Women crushing China in basketball.  I get a kick out of all of it.

What parts of the Olympics do you guys look forward to the most?  What do you think of it so far?  Did you watch the opening ceremonies?  Do you even care?
